  • scripting — read selected or visible page text when you click “Use Page Selection.”
  • contextMenus — right-click “Analyze selection” menu item.
  • storage — session-only to pass your selected text to the popup; cleared immediately after use.
• No remote code: Does not load JS/Wasm from external sources; does not use eval() to run remote code.
• No broad data access: Does not read your browsing history, personal communications, or credentials.
• No tracking/telemetry: No cross-site tracking and no data sharing.

SEOAegis – Quick SEO Inspector

• How it works: Runs instant on-page SEO audits directly in your browser. It reads only the current page’s publicly available HTML/DOM (e.g., title, meta description, headings, links, images, canonical, robots directives) when you activate the audit.
• Permissions:
  • activeTab — inspect the active page when you trigger an audit.
  • scripting — execute read-only scripts to extract on-page SEO elements for the report.
  • contextMenus — optional right-click “Run SEO audit” action on the current page.
  • storage — store lightweight user preferences (e.g., toggle settings) locally; no personal data.
• Data handling: No account required; audit results are generated locally and not sent to our servers.
• No remote code / no tracking: Same guarantees as above.

Data Retention

We retain website-submitted data only as long as necessary to provide services or as required by law. Extensions do not retain analyzed text; any session data is cleared immediately after use.
